We typically eat and drink more during the holiday season. But there are ways to avoid the added weight.

As people get together to celebrate the holidays food and drink are plentiful.

“The average American can gain one to two pounds during the holiday season and it doesn’t sound like a lot but actually most people don’t take the amount of weight off during the next year so that can add up to a significant amount of weight gain,” said Julie Erickson, Aurora Bay Care Medical Center Registered Dietitian.
