Vegetarians Live Longer Than Meat-Eaters

A new study by a California University shows that vegetarians live longer than meat-eaters, but vegans are in the best physical shape.  It was not only the veggies that helped extend the lives of vegetarians however.  Vegetarian groups were inclined to be older, more highly educated, and more likely to be married. They also tended to drink less alcohol, smoke less, exercise more and be thinner.
